    If you're the rightful owner of an item, please contact evidence at (505) 334-7601. Proof of ownership and verification of eligibility to possess the unclaimed property is required prior to the return of any items.

    About Unclaimed Property

  • • Property not claimed within 30 days of this notice will be destroyed pursuant to NM State Law Section 29-1-14.
  • • Contraband, deadly weapons, firearms, ammo, drugs, and hazardous materials are destroyed.
  • • Property valued at $50 or more is auctioned and the money is placed in the general fund (with the exception of currency which is placed directly in the general fund).
