The City of Aztec is in the process of constructing a trash transfer station behind the Aztec Family Center. The transfer station is the result of extensive illegal dumping happening at the city dumpsters located in Aztec city parks.

Cast blocks delivered for ramp construction.
When completed, this transfer station will be open on weekends for local Aztec Citizens to dump large waste (furniture, construction materials, yard debris, household trash, etc). Proof of Aztec residency required (Bring an Aztec utility bill showing Trash Services).
