A Tort Claim is an insurance claim for damages that may have occurred to your property or persona whereby the City may have been liable. Incidents are reviewed by a Self-Insurers agent who determines whether the claim is legitimate. Not all claims are awarded compensation.

MINIUM PARK

• Splash Park: Operates from May to September, Water programmed from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm

• Two (2) large and two (2) small Pavilions with picnic tables and BBQ grill

• Half-mile walking/jogging track around lake

There are several outdoor recreation facilities within Aztec. Mostly owned by the City, but several are managed by associations through agreements with the City. When managed events are not in progress, the public has free access to these locations.
AZTEC DISC GOLF COURSE
1301 Old Spanish Trl (Accessible from Tiger Park)
• 18 Basket course designed for the PRO/AM in mind with long distances (3 Par 4 & 15 Par 3). Additional T-box locations have been installed for beginner and intermediate players.
• The Kart Kanyon Speedway is owned by the City of Aztec and operated/maintained by the non-profit 4 Corners Amateur Racing. The 1/5 mile oval dirt track is designed for flat karts, quarter midgets, and outlaw karts. The facility is only open when races are occurring, not open to public use.
MOUNTAIN VIEW TRAILS
1000 Motor Cross Rd (North of Kart Kanyon Speedway
• Located on BLM lands, the Mountain View Trails is a great high desert singletrack. The trails are hard packed with simple climbs and short fast flow descents. A little tough for beginners starting out but for most riders a great fun ride. The trail provides excellent views of the San Juan Mountains and if looking west you will see Shiprock. The trails can be ridden all year round and e-bikes are permissible. Remote parking for the trails is located north of Kart Kanyon Speedway.
